Structured guides with steps, required items and rewards — for job change, location access and hat quests on uaRO.
Alchemist Job Change
Becoming an Alchemist — the second branch class of the Merchant, focused on brewing potions, crafting consumables and biotechnology. The trial takes place at the Alchemist Union in Al De Baran and includes an entry fee, an interview-style test, brewing simple medicine and a supply errand. To apply you need a Merchant of at least job level 40. No combat involved — just item knowledge, attention and a bit of patience.
Acolyte Job Change
Changing into an Acolyte is a short pilgrimage around Prontera. You don't gather any items: the priest sends you to visit one of his fellow ascetics praying somewhere in the fields, then come back. First you only need to prove you're ready to serve — Novice job level at least 9, with all Basic Skills learned. After the brief trip you return to the church as an Acolyte.
Bunny Band
The Bunny Band is a cute, cheap headgear any class can wear, handed out as part of a Kafra Corp. event. The quest is dead simple: no level or job requirement, just gather a handful of materials and bring them to a Kafra representative. Instead of buying a Bunny Band on the market, you can craft your own right at the start of the game.
Louyang Access
Louyang is a Chinese town with its own dungeon, merchants and flavourful Episode 11.2 quests. There is no separate access quest: a sailor in Alberta ships you over for free. Once there you can jump straight into the main local adventure — stealing the famous Dragon Soup Broth for a fellow named Jiu Lian Bu.
Kunlun (Gonryun) Access
Kunlun (shown on travel maps as Gonryun) is a secluded village in Korean-fantasy style: paper lanterns, bamboo, quiet back-alleys. The town was cut off from the world for ages and until recently let visitors in only through the port of Alberta. You reach it by sea: board the boat at the Alberta docks and it carries you straight to Kunlun. Entry is free — no level and no fare for the boatman.
Ayothaya Access
Ayothaya is a cosy Thai-themed town with temple ruins in the east of Rune-Midgard. The only way there is by boat from Alberta: find the boatman Aibakthing on the pier and pay 10,000 zeny for the trip. Once in town, a local tale awaits you — the engagement ring quest given by the bossy lady Shuda.
Amatsu Access
Amatsu is a Japanese-style town across the sea from the Rune-Midgard mainland, full of lanterns, bridges and its own culture. The only way there is by ship from Alberta: at the docks Sea Captain Walter Moers ferries travellers to the island for a fee. The main local event is the Momotaro Field Trip run by a publishing house, where you play the hero of a Japanese folk tale and clear a field of Dokebi for rewards.
Lighthalzen Access
Lighthalzen is a sprawling metropolis with a wealthy uptown and run-down slums. The only way in is by Airship: the loop route Juno <-> Lighthalzen <-> Einbroch. The most notable local quest is Friendship (reconciling two old friends, Maku and Digotz), available from base level 30.
Super Novice Job Change
Super Novice is a special class for those who want to stay a "common man" yet become far stronger. It can wear the gear of the first classes (Swordman, Mage, Archer, Acolyte, Merchant, Thief) and use their first-rank skills, while still being a Novice at heart. The class change is handled by Tozel in the Novice Guild in Al De Baran; to join you must reach a decent level and bring some "common" materials.
Kiel Hyre (Kiel Capry)
Kiel Capry is a custom NPC in Prontera (147, 177) that grants access to Kiel Hyre Dungeon. The girl herself only warps you to Yuno field 08, to her father's house. There, inside the school (kh_school), the NPC Kiel Carlo lets you into the dungeon for a fee. This is not an item-based story quest, but a paid warp entrance to the dungeon.
Level 4 Weapon Quest
The Level 4 Weapon Quest creates a top-tier, fourth-grade weapon, the most powerful weapon class in pre-renewal ep11.2. In Umbala, the smith Bazo forges these using the evil power of the dead city Niflheim, so it is costly and risky: basic metals, a pile of rare ores, and a pure element of chance. You don't pick which weapon comes out, the result is random, and the forging itself can fail on the first try. Bring extra materials.
Elven Ears
Elven Ears is a custom quest on our server for the headgear of the same name, a pair of pointed elf ears. The Elven Ears Quest NPC in Geffen runs it: he takes a set of gathered materials and crafts the finished headgear in return. It is a daily quest, so you can come back to the NPC again and again. Per the script's description we suggest arriving at base level 75 or higher.
