Doomed Swords Quest

Description

Doomed Swords is a chain about forging cursed blades that a legendary recluse smith once made under duress before hiding in the mountains. It is not a single weapon but a set: Grimtooth, Mysteltainn or Executioner, and which one finally manifests is decided by chance at the end. Talking to Ghatu in Prontera (prt_in 162,11) only gives the backstory; the actual forging runs through three other smiths, each demanding rare cards, ores and drops to complete his section of the unsealing pentagram.

Walkthrough
  1. Find Ghatu indoors in Prontera (prt_in 162,11). He tells the legend of the mysterious smith and the cursed blade. This is only the hook, so afterward talk to the NPCs in Prontera, Morroc and Payon who hint at the smith's whereabouts.
  2. Stage 1 (Walker, Mjolnir Field 02). Bring 1 Emperium, 3 Tentacle, 25 Amulet, 1 Coal and 1 Necklace of Oblivion so he can start shaping the doomed-sword pentagram.
  3. Stage 2, part 1 (Payon). The old smith is nursing a hangover: first bring him 20 Yellow Potion before he will get to work.
  4. Stage 2, part 2 (Morf). Now hand over 3 Old Hilt, 1 Coal, 3 Wooden Block, 1 Foolishness of the Blind and 50 Ogre Tooth so he can continue the pentagram.
  5. Stage 3 (Huey/Young Man, Morroc). Gather the EXACT amounts: 9 Cursed Ruby, 6 Blade of Darkness, 9 Bloody Edge and 1 Loki's Whispers, no more and no less, or he will refuse them.
  6. After the final delivery Huey completes the pentagram and applies the Seal of Murinel; the sections light up in order (Walker's and Morf's work).
  7. When the whole pentagram glows, a doomed sword manifests in the light, grab it quickly. Which one (Grimtooth, Mysteltainn or Executioner) is decided at random, and you receive one of the three.
