Description

The Priest job change is the second branch for an Acolyte. The trial is run by Bishop Paul in the Prontera church (prt_church). To apply you need an Acolyte at job level 40+ with all skill points spent. The path has three trials: a pilgrimage to three ascetic priests, spiritual training (a timed fight against the undead), and an oath of devotion to God.

Walkthrough
  1. Enter the Prontera church (prt_church) and talk to Bishop Paul at 16,41. You need an Acolyte at job level 40 or higher with all skill points spent. Choose "I want to be a Priest" and apply.
  2. The first trial is a pilgrimage to three priests in a set order. First, visit Father Rubalkabara in the ruins northeast of Prontera (moc_ruins field; be careful, aggressive Choco roam there).
  3. Next, find Sister Mathilda in the field north of Morroc, southwest of Prontera.
  4. Last, visit Father Yosuke in the field by a lake northwest of Prontera. After all three, return to Bishop Paul. If you have reached job level 50, this first trial is skipped.
  5. The second trial is spiritual training. Bishop Paul warps you to the training map (job_prist); speak with Father Peter (Peter S. Alberto). He explains that a Priest must exterminate the undead.
  6. Say "I'm ready" to be warped into the hall. Slay all 13 Zombie, each named after a sin or temptation (Theft, Envy, Sloth, Greed, Fear, and so on) before time runs out (5 minutes). A Priest carrying a Rosary may optionally assist you during the fight.
  7. After winning, return to the church. Bishop Paul sends you to the third trial, the oath, with Sister Cecilia (prt_church 27,24).
  8. Sister Cecilia asks about your devotion to God and your conduct as a player (notably whether you will lure crowds of monsters, to which the answer must be "no"). Answer honestly and complete the oath.
  9. Return to Bishop Paul. Make sure your skill points are spent, and he performs the rite, changing you into a Priest. As a gift you receive a Book (or a Bible if you were job level 50).
