Dancer Job Change

Quest giver: Sonotora Comodo
Description

The Dancer job change is the second branch of the Archer path, available only to female characters. Everything takes place in the resort town of Comodo, where a dance school has just opened. You fill out an application, gather a list of supplies for the lessons, pass an oral exam, and finally complete a dance performance test on stage. Requirements: base class Archer and Job Level 40+.

Walkthrough
  1. Make sure your character is female, has the base class Archer, and is at least Job Level 40 (otherwise you won't be accepted).
  2. In the town of Comodo, find Sonotora by the theater (180, 153) for some inspiration. Nearby stands Bor Robin, who warps aspiring dancers into the dance school.
  3. Inside the school, talk to Aile and fill out the application. She'll note your name and ask you to come back a little later.
  4. Speak with Aile again — she gives you a list of supplies for the lessons. The list is random, so go by exactly what the NPC names.
  5. Gather all the listed items and bring 10,000 zeny (the tuition fee). Return to Aile to hand over the items and money.
  6. Aile sends you to Bijou, who runs the interview — ten questions about dances, Dancer skills, and the town of Comodo itself. You need to score over 70 to pass; you can retake it if you fail.
  7. After passing the interview, go to the waiting room and take part in the dance performance test: follow the lead dancer's moves on stage without mistakes.
  8. Return to Bijou — she congratulates you and changes your job to Dancer.
  9. As a gift you receive a Dancer weapon: Rope, or a Whip if you reached Job Level 50 by the time of the change.
