Entity: Familiar Power

Quest giver: Helge Niflheim
Description

This is a custom story quest for the Entity faction: you set out to find the hidden community of Familiars, whose evil reputation you refuse to believe. It starts with Helge at the entrance to Niflheim, but the townsfolk brush you off until they finally snap and point you toward an old mansion. There the Butler and his three brothers in the living towns test your persistence, and at the end lord Dracula himself awaits. Accept his offer and you receive the Familiar Power item, a token of belonging to the faction.

Walkthrough
  1. Come to Niflheim and talk to Helge (123, 122). He drives you off — visit the four other townsfolk (Einar, Griselda, Gunther, Kristian), and once you have pestered them all, they will send you to the mansion. Bring Cursed Water along as an offering.
  2. Enter the mansion (nif_in) and see the Butler (31, 167); hand over 1 Cursed Water as an entry fee. He hears your story and asks you to bring 5 more bottles of Cursed Water.
  3. Return to the Butler with 5 Cursed Water. In return he gives you the locations of his three brothers and asks you to help each of them.
  4. Help the brothers: Faust in Morroc (249, 290) wants a Coat; Derek in the Comodo casino (cmd_in02 187, 89) wants 100,000 Zeny; Menhel in the Payon Archer Guild (payon_in02 28, 31) wants a Sakkat.
  5. Go back to the Butler — he confirms all three are satisfied and opens the passage to lord Dracula on the mansion's second floor.
  6. Go up to Dracula (nif_in 104, 180), hear him out, and agree to join — he hands you the Familiar Power.
